Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the developer of Titan("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the TitaniOS and watchOS applications and this marketing website (collectively, the "Service"). Titan is designed so that your health and fitness data is processed on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
1. Who we are
The Service is provided by the developer of Titan. For privacy questions, contact us at support@titan.app.
2. Our privacy posture
Titan is built as an on-device performance lab. Apple Foundation Models, Core ML models, and coaching logic run on your iPhone (including the Neural Engine). We do not operate a cloud backend that stores your HealthKit graph, recovery scores, workout history, lifestyle tags, or AI briefings.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use advertising identifiers to track you across apps or websites for ads.
3. Information processed on your device
With your permission, Titan reads and writes data via Apple HealthKit and related Apple frameworks. Categories may include, depending on the features you use:
- Heart rate, resting heart rate, and heart rate variability (including rMSSD-related metrics)
- Sleep analysis and related recovery inputs
- Workouts, active energy, steps, and training load proxies (including Banister TRIMP and muscular load estimates)
- Body metrics and other HealthKit samples you authorize
- Goals, injury caps, lifestyle or behavioral tags, and preferences you enter in the app
- On-device model outputs such as recovery scores, forecasts, and AI coach briefings
This information remains on your device (and, where applicable, in Apple Health / iCloud Health sync controlled by Apple and your Apple ID settings—not by a Titan server).
4. Information we do not collect
We do not collect or store on our servers:
- Your HealthKit samples or derived athletic metrics
- Contents of AI briefings or behavioral attribution results
- Precise location for marketing or analytics (unless you later enable a feature that requires it—and we update this policy)
5. Purchases and Apple services
In-app purchases (Free tier upgrades to Pro or Founders Edition) are processed by Apple via StoreKit / App Store. Apple handles payment details under Apple's privacy policy. We may receive non-health purchase status (for example, whether a subscription or lifetime unlock is active) through Apple's purchase APIs on your device so we can unlock features locally.
Crash reports, diagnostics, or analytics that you enable through Apple system settings (for example, Share with App Developers) may be available to us via Apple in a form that Apple controls. We use such information only to fix bugs and improve reliability—not to rebuild your health profile.
6. This marketing website
The marketing website may use standard web server or hosting logs (such as IP address, user agent, and pages requested) operated by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the site. We do not use those logs to combine with your on-device HealthKit data.
7. Permissions
You control HealthKit access in iOS Settings. If you revoke access, Titan may lose the ability to compute recovery, load, and coaching features. You can delete the app at any time to remove local app storage on that device.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us through a channel we control, contact support@titan.app.
9. Your rights
Because health and coaching data lives on your device, the primary way to access, export (where the app supports it), or delete that data is through the app and your device / Apple Health controls.
Depending on where you live (including California and the EEA/UK), you may have rights to request information about personal data we hold about you in channels we control (for example, email correspondence). Contact us at support@titan.app. We will respond as required by applicable law. Note that we typically cannot retrieve HealthKit data from your phone; we do not host it.
10. International users
Titan processes supported data on your device wherever you use the app. If you contact us by email, that correspondence may be processed in the United States or other locations where we or our email providers operate.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
